Babes-Bolyai University and Cluj Napoca Town Hall project: SMART InfoBioNano4Health&Innovation

The project idea entitled SMART InfoBioNano4Health&Innovation, proposed by our member Babes-Bolyai University and Cluj-Napoca Town Hall, with an estimated budget of 45 mil EUR, was ranked first in the competition launched by the North West Regional Development Agency. 

As an organization responsible for the regional Smart Specialisation Strategy, the Agency launched the call in order to build the project portfolio of the RIS3 for the 2021-2027 programming period. The project idea refers to the development of an integrated research and innovation platform that connects the University to the intra- and extra-regional innovation networks even stronger. The idea is relevant for more regional smart specialisation priorities and will consolidate the position of the university in the innovation system, as well.
