New Erasmus+ calls launched

The Erasmus+ Programme has launched two new calls related to policy in the European Education Area.

1. The Call for Proposals on European policy experimentation in higher education under the Erasmus+ programme has two strands:

  • Joint European degree label - development and piloting of the implementation of European criteria for the award a label issued as a complementary certificate to students graduating from transnational joint programmes, in order to increase the visibility, attractiveness and reputation of the latter, both in Europe and beyond. The call is available here.

  • Instruments to explore the feasibility for a possible European legal status for alliances of higher education institutions - piloting of existing European instruments to allow alliances to act together in strategic decisions, recruitment, curricula and pool resources and capacities, in order to strengthen transnational cooperation among institutions. The call is available here.

The deadline for submission of applications is 6 October (17h CEST) and an info session can be watched by clicking here.

2. The Call for Proposals for European Policy Networks covers the establishment of two European Policy Networks to analyse and co-create knowledge on effective policy approaches to teaching professions and education of young students with a migrant background. Two projects will be selected for funding:

  • The European policy network on teachers and school leaders - call here.

  • The European policy network in the field of education of children and young people with a migrant background - call here.

The networks are expected to include different stakeholders working in these areas, which might include Higher Education institutions, in order to disseminate effective practices and innovative approaches more widely.

Applications end on 12 October (17h CEST) and the info session provided by the European Commission can be watched here.
