As part of the SGroup’s strategic efforts to expand the network’s outreach in Europe, we are very pleased to announce that we have received two new membership applications i.e. the University of Split, from Croatia and the University of Sarajevo from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The EC has endorsed the applications and they will be presented to our members for approval at the next General Assembly.

Both Universities are already connected to several SGroup members and they have an interesting international portfolio of activities. Among the projects and initiatives, it is important to highlight that the University of Split is part of the European Universities Initiative - The European University of the Seas (SEA-EU) -, together with a SGroup member, the University of Malta. As for the University of Sarajevo, they currently have bilateral and Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Agreements with several SGroup members and they also participated in the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window,  project Basileus I, II and III together with Ghent University.
