What is the ICON Programme?

The InterContinental Academic Exchange Programme (ICON) is designed to promote collaboration between SGroup institutions and their global partners. Through ICON, participants can strengthen international networks, develop joint research projects, and contribute to the internationalization strategies of their institutions.

For 2025, 11 grants of up to €3,000 are available to support travel, accommodation, and other expenses related to mobility.

Who Can Apply?

• Academic and administrative staff from SGroup full-member universities can apply for mobility outside Europe, including destinations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.
• Staff from SGroup associate-member universities can apply for mobility within SGroup European institutions.

Application Process

The first call for applications is open from January 31, 2025, to March 7, 2025. If grants remain, a second call will be held from April 4, 2025, to April 25, 2025.

To apply, candidates must:

✅ Submit an application via the online form.

Once submitted, applicants will receive an automatic confirmation email, and their applications will be evaluated based on eligibility, motivation, and expected impact.
