Partnership Policy
1. Principles
- Partnerships extend SGroup’s visibility and collaborative outreach while maintaining its European identity.
- Partnerships are established exclusively with higher education associations and networks.
2. Eligibility Criteria
A partner organisation must:
- Be a well-established higher education association or network.
- Share SGroup’s values of academic freedom, ethics, and integrity.
- Demonstrate a proven record of international collaboration and policy impact.
- Offer tangible opportunities for cooperation through joint projects, events, or publications.
3. Application and Selection Process
- Identification of Prospective Partners
- WG MPPGO identifies potential partners based on strategic relevance.
- Suggestions may also come from SGroup member institutions.
- Approval to Initiate
- The WG MPPGO lead informs the EC, which authorises engagement.
- Engagement
- The SGroup office, the WG MPPGO, or individual members initiate the contact.
- Discussions focus on areas of shared interest and mutual benefit.
- Agreement
- A draft cooperation agreement and action plan are prepared.
- Both parties negotiate terms and approve through their respective executive bodies.
- Duration and Renewal
- Agreements are signed for an initial 5-year term.
- Joint activities are monitored by WG MPPGO and reviewed by the EC.
- Renewal depends on evaluation of achievements and strategic alignment.
