The event brought together PhD candidates, researchers, university representatives, and academic networks from across Europe to explore key topics shaping doctoral education and research careers.

The programme featured lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and networking activities focused on areas such as AI in research, scientific publishing, transferable skills, sustainability, and innovation. A particular highlight was the European Doctoral Day, dedicated to recognising the contribution of doctoral candidates to science, innovation, and society across Europe.

SGroup was pleased to participate alongside member universities Sapienza Università di Roma and the University of Bayreuth, strengthening connections across the network and contributing to ongoing discussions on the future of doctoral education.

We thank the organisers for an engaging and inspiring programme that fostered collaboration and reflection on the experiences and future perspectives of early-career researchers.
