Kaunas University of Technology Announces Global Faculty Week 2026
23 February 2026
Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) will host its Global Faculty Week 2026 from 4–8 May 2026, inviting academic staff from partner universities worldwide to take part in this international teaching and networking initiative.
The event aims to strengthen international academic cooperation, enhance the intercultural dimension of university curricula, and promote the concept of internationalisation at home. Faculty members from a wide range of disciplines—including engineering, technology, natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities—are encouraged to participate.
Visiting lecturers will be paired with KTU course leaders to deliver collaborative teaching sessions, creating meaningful academic exchanges. The programme will be organised in a hybrid format, enabling broader participation from international partners.
Non-academic administrative staff are invited to the BIP, featuring workshops and lectures on “Universities at the Crossroad: Navigating Global Challenges and the Future of Learning.”
Alongside the academic programme, participants will engage in cultural and networking activities designed to foster collaboration and build new partnerships within the global academic community.
Application deadline: 1 April 2026
