Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) recently celebrated the successful completion of the 10th International PhD Summer School, which welcomed 44 doctoral candidates from 24 universities representing 12 countries worldwide for a week of intensive learning, networking, and professional development.

The event also welcomed participants from Stellenbosch University, further strengthening academic exchange and international networking within the SGroup community.

The programme helped early-stage researchers develop key academic and transferable skills through expert-led sessions on academic publishing, AI governance, stress management, and effective public speaking.

Beyond the academic programme, participants had the opportunity to enjoy a rich cultural programme featuring visits to Palanga and the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

KTU extends its sincere thanks to all lecturers and participants who contributed to the success of this special anniversary edition and looks forward to welcoming doctoral researchers from across the SGroup community next year.
