KTU to Host 10th International PhD Summer School in Palanga

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) invites PhD students from around the world to participate in the 10th International KTU PhD Summer School, taking place 1–5 June 2026 in Palanga, Lithuania.
The summer school focuses on developing key competencies needed for a successful doctoral journey, including preparing for dissertation defence and identifying future research directions. The programme offers 54 academic hours (equivalent to 2 ECTS credits) and will feature practical sessions led by international lecturers.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics such as communicating scientific ideas, managing stress during doctoral studies, improving public speaking skills, and governance and assessment of AI systems. The event also provides valuable networking opportunities for PhD students from different countries.
Hosted in the seaside resort city of Palanga, the programme combines academic development with a collaborative and inspiring learning environment.
