Continuing the SGroup Think Tank Academy series of webinars  on the topic “Towards a holistic and ethical framework for responsible internationalization in HEIs”, we are glad to announce that the next event will take place on 30 July 2020, at 15:00 CEST, and will be focused on “University-wide concepts of responsible internationalization”. The programme is available at the PDF below and registrations are open here until 29 July.

We will host two external guests in this 2-hours Zoom Webinar. Iris Danowski, Head of the Latin America Unit of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), is going to present the Audit Process for Internationalisation of German Universities as it is conducted by HRK, touching upon the subject of sustainability. Furthermore, Dr. Lorna Jean Edmonds, Vice Provost for Global Affairs and International Studies from the Ohio University, will share her views about the strategic framework for internationalization within the universal sustainability landscape.

Additionally, two experts from SGroup member universities will contribute to the discussion on University-wide concepts of responsible internationalization, sharing best practices from their institutions: Eleni Georgoudaki, from the University of Patras, and Anne-Laure Villeminot, from the University of Liège.
