Our member Babeș-Bolyai University, in Cluj-Napoca, hosted the SGroup Think Tank Academy Spring Conference last week from 25-26 May 2023.

Entitled “SGroup: European roots, global reach. Addressing new complexities in international higher education”, the conference brought together academics and international relations officers from SGroup member universities to promote discussions in five working sessions for Think Tank for China, Think Tank for Latin America, Think Tank for Africa, Think Tank for Doctoral Education and Think Tank for the Social Mission of Universities.

The opening ceremony had interventions from the Rector of UBB, Prof. Daniel David, the President of SGroup, Arnim Heinemann, and the Vice-Rector responsible for Communication and International Relations of UBB, Prof. Flaviu-Călin Rus, where collaboration, partnerships and projects carried out by the members of the network were highlighted.
