For the second year in a row, the Think Tank Academy (TTA) is hosting a conference for SGroup members as part of its annual meetings. With a blended format, 2022’s edition will take place in the University of Minho, in the city of Guimarães, Portugal, and be partially live-streamed online.

The morning activities are open to both live and online participants and include five presentations on “Social Innovation on campus and beyond '' organised by each of the 5 TTA chapters: Latin America, China, Africa, Doctoral Education, and the Social Mission of Universities. Afterwards, the final presentation of the SGroup PhD contest winners will be held.

The second half of the conference will be exclusively organised for in-person attendees, with interactive activities such as a workshop on institutional strategies for global engagement, a forum discussion on core challenges in Higher Education related to cooperation with Think Tank Academy regions, and topics and two Roundtables on the sustainable and digital transition of global Higher Education.
