Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, we regret to inform our members that the Think Tank meeting scheduled for 16-17 June at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPG) has been cancelled.
Instead, ULPG is organizing a one-day Web Conference under the same topic, Sustainable Internationalization, for 29 June. Save the date!
The first SGroup Think Tank workshop focused on the global topic “Sustainable Development” will be hosted by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from Tuesday, June 16 (from 14:00) to Wednesday, June 17.
The call for submission of topics for the SGroup Think Tank Workshop in Las Palmas is now open here until March 27 (while registrations will remain open here until May 15).
The session on the 16th afternoon, Conceptualizing Sustainable Internationalization, will encourage the discussion about SGroup initiatives for sustainable internationalisation and include a presentation about the SUCTI Academia project and the European report on systemic university changes towards internationalisation for academic staff in European HEIs.
On the 17th, SGroup members and external guests are invited to present topics on Sustainable Development regarding Latin America, China and Africa.
In the late afternoon, a networking event will take place, together with participants from the second international conference on regional integration: Enabling tourism to integrate AME economies to cope with climate change: special focus on the African societies, which will take place from 18 to 19 June (further information, call for papers and deadlines here).
