The next SGroup Think Tank Academy event, and the last one of this year, is the webinar on ‘African-European collaboration  – funding opportunities and challenges’ and takes place on 2 December 2021 at 14.00 CET. The event is free of charge and open to the global HE public (e.g.. IROs, senior leadership, academic and administrative staff of HE). 

This webinar is organised by the Think Tank for Africa and will include a presentation of the Horizon Europe Programme: the EU-Africa Initiative by Fadila Boughanemi from the European Commission, as well as an overview of a possible AU-EU strategic roadmap by Murray Biedler, Development & Humanitarian expert. The participants will have the opportunity to send in questions for the speakers beforehand, and they will be answered in a live Q&A.

The second part of the event will showcase two inspiring practices by SGroup members who will present EU-Africa third-party funded projects and hare their successes and difficulties, promoting a discussion among peers on such collaboration.
