Brief description of the activities to be carried out
This internship focuses on the study and sustainable management of non-wood forest resources, particularly wild mushrooms and soil fungal communities. The work is flexible and linked to forest management, wildfires, and mycological resources. Activities may include studying fungal community composition under different management methods, assessing the effects of fire on these communities, and exploring interactions between forest management practices and fungal ecology.
There is also the possibility of developing fieldwork or collaborations in applied mycology or ethnomycology in developing countries.
