Brief description of the activities to be carried out
The trainee will work on forest health and disturbances using remote sensing across multiple platforms, from drones to satellites, and with different sensors (LiDAR, thermal, multispectral). Possible activities include forest health monitoring (e.g., Thaumetopoea pityocampa, Viscum album), analyzing wildfire impacts, or assessing forest structure and dynamics.
