Brief description of the activities to be carried out
The activities are outlined, although they are not exhaustive. The visiting researcher must possess a fundamental understanding of Spanish, English, or Portuguese. The researcher must have at least a B2 level in one of these languages.
1. Literature Review and Framework Development: Initiating with a comprehensive literature review will be paramount. This activity not only establishes a solid foundation for your research but also identifies gaps in existing studies. By collaboratively developing a conceptual framework, the visiting researcher will ensure that your research questions are well-defined and positioned within the current discourse on transitional justice and human rights. This establishes a solid foundation for impactful contributions to the field.
2. Collaborative Meetings in Progress: This facilitates the exchange of ideas and fosters a collaborative environment. This will not only enhance the quality of your research but also strengthen the intellectual bonds among researchers. During these sessions, the visiting researcher will discuss findings, brainstorm potential challenges, and refine your arguments.
3. Methodological Coordination and Data Sharing: Effective research relies on a robust methodology. This encompasses determining data collection methods, analytical frameworks, and ethical considerations to streamline the writing process and facilitate the publication of findings in specialized journals.
4. Publication Strategy and Networking: The visiting researcher should identify pertinent journals and conferences that align with your findings and establish submission deadlines. Furthermore, utilize your postdoctoral stay to network with other researchers and practitioners in the field.
