Additional information
The research center Centro de investigación en terminología bilingüe, traducción especializada y análisis contrastivo (CITTAC) at the University of Valladolid continues the work previously carried out by the research institute Instituto de investigación en terminología bilingüe y traducción especializada (ITBYTE) until the 2009–2010 academic year.

CITTAC brings together researchers from the University of Valladolid (UVa), the University of Ottawa (Canada), and the Food Quality Research Center, part of Spain’s National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA). They collaborate on both basic and applied research projects, with a particular focus on studying specialized lexicon in the main languages used in international scientific communication.

CITTAC carries out their research as a member of the ACTRES international research group, based at the University of Leon, and also participates in diverse Recognized Research Groups (GIRs) from the University of Valladolid.
