On Friday 17 March 2017 the EWP Project is organizing the Stakeholder Meeting at the University of Porto to which we invite external stakeholders i.e. representatives of HEIs (student administrators, International Relations Officers, IT specialists), University network representatives, public and commercial mobility module software developers and consortia, representatives of National Agencies and Ministries of Education, National student data repositories and other stakeholders with an interest in the work of the EWP Network and its future implementation. A new follow-up project proposal EWP 2.0 will also be submitted in March. So now is the time for interested stakeholders to express their needs and expectations, meet the EWP partners, suggest further activities and join the EWP network.
The project has already developed a framework and common standards for interoperability between HEI systems to make it possible to exchange mobility student data (more info). The end result of the project will be a prototype of the EWP Network and concrete connectors to existing Student Information Systems (SIS) and SIS-software, so that the functionality and the reliability of the network can be fully tested at the end of the project.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss possible case scenarios for the further implementation of the EWP Network across Europe, a presentation of how future users can join the EWP community and details about how the follow-up project will be organized. The event will last a full day so participants are advised to arrive on the 16th and leave on the 17th (evening) or the 18th. Stakeholders attending the meeting will be offered dinner on 16th and lunch on the 17th March.
If you are interested in participating, please visit the EWP website www.erasmuswithoutpaper.eu Registration is open until 24th February 2017.
