In the framework of the Think Tank Academy for Doctoral Education, SGroup is hosting its first PhD Training and Competition. This new internal networking activity gives PhD candidates of SGroup institutions a unique opportunity to benefit from soft skill training and compete to receive one of the three PhD Mobility Grant of up to 1000€ to carry out research abroad. 

Applications are available until 20 June here. The participation is exclusive to PhD candidates affiliated with SGroup member and associate member universities. The full information is available on the SGroup PhD Training and Competition webpage.

With this initiative, SGroup aims to promote collaboration and networking among members and the policy priority for Open Science of the European Commission and the standard method of working under its research and innovation funding programmes.

The training will support the development of research students' capacity to explain their work effectively, reach new audiences and share knowledge and data as early as possible with all relevant actors. This contributes to diffusing the latest knowledge contributing to further growing the social impact of research, a goal of SGroup. 

Participants will also have an opportunity for professional development, recognition, networking and to be awarded a grant for a research-related visit to an institution of their choice anywhere in the world.
