SGroup Engagements Session Explores "The Green Agenda" and the Social Mission of Universities

On February 6th, 2025, the SGroup – Universities in Europe hosted another inspiring edition of its Engagements series, bringing together experts from academia and industry to discuss "The Green Agenda: Social Mission, Sustainability, and Environmentalism." 

This 90-minute online session featured a panel of distinguished speakers who shared their insights on the crucial role universities play in driving sustainability and environmental responsibility. The event was moderated by Adina Fodor (Babeș-Bolyai University) and welcomed:

  • Professor Bálint MARKÓ – Vice-Rector, Babeș-Bolyai University
  • Mr. Brian GORMLEY – Head of Sustainability Education, TU Dublin
  • Alexandra HUGHES – TTSMU
  • Cecilia CHRISTERSSON – TTSMU

A Growing Community Committed to Change

With an engaged audience of 18 participants from various institutions and sectors, this session reinforced the power of dialogue in shaping sustainable policies and practices.
