Dates:
6 November, 2014 - 14:00 to 8 November, 2014 - 18:00
The SGroup General Assembly and Liaison Officers meeting 2014 took place at the Universitat Politècnica de València on 7-8 November 2014.

This year’s General Assembly under the title Developing Entrepreneurial Universities for Sustainable Future. Issues and impacts for the SGroup Network was devoted to the question of entrepreneurial universities as an organisational model that can help universities develop innovative links between the “research” and “education” missions as well as strengthen partnerships with entrepreneurship support providers and sources of financing.

The concept of entrepreneurial universities was explored in more detail in a series of keynote speeches and case study presentations. The programme wasstructured around three major pillars: education, research and entrepreneurial activities. External and internal factors were analysed that condition a fertile environment for organisational entrepreneurship.

The event also marked the 25th anniversary of the SGroup, formally brought to life in 1989, providing an opportunity to reflect on the past and look into the future of the network in an entrepreneurial spirit at the joint session of General Assembly Representatives and Liaison Officers.
