SGroup - Universities in Europe expresses its solidarity with all those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

As always, and particularly in this context, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting academic freedom and fostering the social mission of universities. Having global academic collaboration and international cooperation as a commitment, SGroup calls for respect for democratic values and for peace.

Thus, SGroup extends its support to the institutions and individuals in the academic communities who support the right of people to determine their own future. It therefore condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In addition, it encourages its members and beyond to defend democratic principles and peaceful collaboration.
