2025:

Held virtually in early March and on-site from May 19–23, 2025, this enriching initiative brought together SGroup Liaison Officers (LOs) and International Relations Officers (IROs) from across Europe for an inspiring week of learning, exchange, and collaboration.

Throughout the BIP, participants co-created a dynamic programme featuring engaging sessions on:

  • Best Practices on Inclusion

  • Community Service Learning (ECEM Project)

  • Artificial Intelligence in International Offices

  • Designing Intercultural Communication Courses

  • Synergies among European Alliances

  • A crash course in Italian language and culture

The on-site component spanned across the Catania, Ragusa, and Syracuse campuses, combining professional development with rich cultural immersion, including a memorable visit to Mount Etna and guided historical tours.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Valentina and her team at the University of Catania for their remarkable efforts and meticulous preparation, which made this BIP possible. The success of this programme stands as a testament to her commitment to international cooperation and her amamzing spirit.

Valentina’s legacy will remain with us  in our memories, in the friendships she nurtured, and in the work she so passionately advanced.
